JOIN US ON THE BOARD OF THE EAF
Are you looking for a way to give back to Alaska and your fellow employees? We have the perfect opportunity for you!
The Employee Assistance Fund for Alaska Airlines (the EAF) is in search of new members for its Board of Directors.
If you are seeking a volunteer opportunity ,and consider your coworkers as friends and part of your community, then the EAF wants YOU.
As a member of the Board, you will work directly with employees facing times of considerable hardship, such as those dealing with serious illness, a catastrophic event, or other emergency situations. Your job is to connect with your assigned applicant to learn about their situation and present your case to the rest of the Board.
We help approved cases pay their household bills and expenses while they can focus on getting healthy and back to a normal life.
The EAF is a last financial resort for these employees. The work is challenging but rewarding.
The position requires 4-6 hours of your time per month, plus attendance at monthly meetings and participation in EAF fundraising events such as our golf tournament or auction.
For more information, visit the EAF webpage at www.alaskaeaf.com.
If you are interested, send a short email to: David.Petronic@alaskaeaf.com by April 3 rd 2020. Let us know how you heard about the position. Thank you!

Thanks to the employees of Alaska Airlines who donate to the EAF fund.
Last year over 200 employees were helped by EAF (you!) This is real help to real families. At the EAF we have always believed there is nothing more wonderful than helping a fellow employee. The donations you make lift entire families up in their time of need.
